Pricing depends on what you have, how much space it takes up, its weight and access to the property. Tell us about stairs, tight driveways or unusually heavy items when you request your quote.

Our Prices

Rubbish Removal Prices

When it comes to pricing, we factor in the waste type, overall volume, weight, and how easy it is to access your property. Every truck in our fleet handles 8–12 m³ (up to 3 tonnes per load). If you have a massive commercial or estate project, we can coordinate a multi-truck team to knock it out in one day. You’ll only ever be charged for the total volume of waste, meaning absolutely no hidden truck fees.

Where Does Your Rubbish Go?

A mixed rubbish load can contain materials that belong in different waste streams. Where practical, RubbishGo separates recyclable material such as metal, cardboard, green waste and eligible e-waste, while reusable items may be set aside for reuse or donation.

NSW rules require waste transporters to prevent waste escaping during transport and to take waste to a place that can lawfully receive it. Higher-risk and trackable wastes have extra transport and licensing requirements.

Restricted Waste

Standard RubbishGo collections do not accept asbestos, hazardous chemicals or liquid waste. If you are unsure about an item, tell us what it is before booking rather than adding it to a mixed load.

Safe Handling of Hazardous Materials

Hazardous, restricted and regulated items, including asbestos, chemicals, paints and selected e-waste, are handled through specialist disposal channels.

Reducing Environmental Impact

Truck loads and large projects are planned to minimise fuel use and repeat trips. Recurring services are scheduled strategically to lower overall environmental footprint.

Community & Compliance

We partner with recycling centers and charities to maximise reuse. All services comply with NSW council regulations and environmental laws.

How Customers Can Help

Sort recyclables, donations and hazardous items (including e-waste) before collection. Bundle garden waste to make recycling easier and faster.

FAQ

FAQs about Rubbish Removal and Our Services

How much does rubbish removal cost?

RubbishGo currently lists general rubbish collection from $120 per cubic metre, with lower cubic-metre rates available for larger loads. Green waste starts from $90 per cubic metre. Your quote can vary with volume, weight, waste type and access.

Same-day bookings are available across parts of the Central Coast, Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, subject to crew availability, location and the size of the job. Contact us early if you need the rubbish removed that day.

We collect accepted household rubbish, furniture, mattresses, whitegoods, green waste, office and commercial rubbish, renovation waste, construction waste and eligible electronic waste.

No. For accepted items, our team can handle the lifting and loading. Clear hallways, stairs and other access points where possible so the crew can move items safely.

Not necessarily. While presence is optional, it’s helpful for guidance on sensitive items or valuables. For deceased property or commercial projects, we can coordinate directly with family members, estate executors or building managers.

Yes. Furniture, mattresses, fridges, washing machines and other common bulky household items are among the services currently listed by RubbishGo.

RubbishGo does not accept asbestos, hazardous chemicals or liquid waste through its standard rubbish removal service. Contact the team before booking if you have an unusual or regulated item.

Rubbish removal can suit jobs where you want the lifting, loading and collection handled for you. A skip bin can make more sense if you want to keep the bin on-site and fill it gradually over several days. The better option depends on your load, access and how quickly you want it gone.

Times vary by project size:

  • Small household loads (8–10 m³): ~3–4 hours, 1 truck

  • Medium loads (10–20 m³): ~4–5.5 hours, 1–2 trucks

  • Large estates or commercial projects (>20 m³): 5–8 hours, multiple trucks
Exact timing is confirmed during booking based on volume and access conditions.
